How This Works

  • Each planet's ecliptic longitude is computed using astronomical ephemeris data for your exact birth date and time.
  • Both tropical (Western) and sidereal (Vedic, Lahiri ayanamsa) positions are shown.
  • The degree reading draws on classical symbolic degree literature for the exact degree interval (e.g. 14–15°).
  • For fast-moving bodies (Moon, Ascendant), birth time accuracy significantly affects the reading.
